It's 6:46 Eastern. Can anyone confirm if the first runner is in their starting corral yet?
Screw the elites... we want updates on Matt Choi and Elizabeth Clor. 🤣
Can anyone tell me if this course has hills?
I heard that more people showed up to all the "shake outs" with influencers than are actually running the race today

Chebet and Lemma will be a good match.
Will watch after work
Live broadcast by the local Boston news station.
why do people go to those? wrote:

But I think that is a good thing. Most people cannot qualify for and enter the Boston marathon but they made ways that a lot of people could be involved running the course with people they are fans of. It was a good way to increase community involvement.
Looking forward to great women coverage!

Boston marathon is famous for the brutal hills.
The mods can delete the thread about Sara and Desi but it remains that we don't care about them anymore. Same goes for Abdi. Let's focus on the current runners.

Absolutely rooting for a new Helen Obiri win!
Pretty sure Abdi could've run a 2:01 in Rotterdam, he jogged through the parcour he told media but didn't because didn't want to take a risk. He hit a street cover and felt his hamstring.
Would've been major, if Abdi could've gone max in Rotterdam.

- Eliud Kipchoge, 2023
Gronk as Field Marshal, incredible 😂
t will be hot garbage as every year.
Unlistenable , garbage, American coverage with likely no mile splits, 5k sits, distance displayed.
Ugly, grey course, in and ugly city
Slow race
Weak elite field
Worst world marathon major
How do people cope with the commentary and race analysis? Awful
Will watch, but it's needs a major overhaul

Everything else you need to know including Previews, tracking, etc at this link:
Before they get going, I just want to say that I would love to know the total in appearance and expense money they pay out in addition to prize money.
How much prize money would there be if, like Tennis and Golf, there were no appearance and expense money?
How many Bodton jackets have been spotted?
