Doesn't Lemma have grey hair, or is that just the light? Of course, today's finish would be enough to give anyone grey hair...
Lemma, all the rizz of a Wendy’s regional manager.
They just dropped the men's race coverage after the first 3 finishers, I hate when they do that. Can we at least see the top 10 finish?
The early leader Morii just got 8th in under 2:10!! Previous best 2:14

Going be close eek
OK, wrong but they did close the gap
Obviously they haven't run through the times of place 1-3 as hey!, why bother
Women's pack is now 10 people. Finally. Emma is off the pack, or at least I don't see her

t will be hot garbage as every year.
Unlistenable , garbage, American coverage with likely no mile splits, 5k sits, distance displayed.
Ugly, grey course, in and ugly city
Slow race
Weak elite field
Worst world marathon major
How do people cope with the commentary and race analysis? Awful
Will watch, but it's needs a major overhaul
Obviously this take is a little too negative, but American race coverage really really really sucks and it amazes me that they can't step it up a bit. Need an elapsed race time display, need split breakdowns, need dots on a map that shows where each favorite is on the course, need color commentary from retired or non-racing elites, etc. on par with what the TdF has always offered with Phil Liggett.
11 actually.
Des Linden - pretender
Sara Hall - pretender
Emma Bates - pretender
Maybe run with the people holding the targeted times suited for you instead of with the leaders.
Thanks, american broadcasters, for not even showing the top american man come through... we would much rather see the slow women's pack at mile 21.
Faster than you could run a half.
Now for the real coverage: Matt Choi comes through Half in 1:36:36. Can he pull off a sub 3:07?
Did CJ get in top ten?

This might be the worst take of the day in this entire thread.

Super happy to see CJ get his sub-2:10! Didn't end up being as fast as a day people thought it would be with it getting a little warm by the finish.
Too bad for Lenny tho.

Think he's gonna run out of real estate. But if he gets him the adrenaline might get him under 2:10.
Nope. He blew by him, closed under 2:10, and finished a very solid 7th.
Probably ran the smartest race of anyone in the top 15 or so.
People here constantly mocking the guy and calling him an idiot. He's actually a very smart and disciplined runner.
Very solid race.
