Decent, not great. Doesn't fit my foot as good as ASICS.
I've been using some version of this shoe for about 8 years as my daily trainer. Even with occasional "upgrades" (Ride 5->6, etc) it's been a good match for me. Neutral, adequate support. I have 2 gripes: it's a bit heavier than my ideal for any sort of faster running, so I'm tending to switch to another shoe for tempo etc. And my bony heel has a tendency to puncture the liner at about 200 miles. I cover the hole with duct tape and the shoe lasts fine for another 200 miles.
I've been wearing the Saucony Ride for 2 years and it has been great. It's comfortable for my medium arch, neutral feet and light frame. It's light, but not ultralight. Durability is strong. And I think they look cool.
good, but not breathable enough.
I'm not very particular about shoes - I look for comfort and value, in that order, and typically pay no more that $50 - $60 for a pair of shoes. This shoe fits those criteria. I've had them about 1 month so far, have run about 200 miles in them and have had no issues with them
Very comfortable, but still looking for a shoe that fits my foot better (small and high).
It is a OK distance shoe, a bit heavy and has a built-up heal. It is better for my achilles tendon compared to the Saucony Mirage which I used before that.
Pretty basic cushioned shoe. Very cheap when on sale online.
Love it; these are my fourth pair of the ride 6s. They do tend to wear out really fast, especially when I wear them for speed workouts.
I used to run in Asics 2100 series until the new, somewhat similar 2000 series came out and the 2100 series was phased out (at least I think it was 2000 that replaced the old model, can't be certain of the new series name, I was just annoyed that the shoe I trusted for so long was discontinued). I can trust my nearest local running shoe store to help me find something that works. I tried some Adidas and Mizunos (can't be certain of the model names.... I am a neutral runner with normal probation, run at most 90 miles per week, 5'6" female 120-125 lbs). I tried the Saucony shoes on the same visit and love them! Ride 6, bought a couple of pairs and have used them for a little over a year (multiple pairs of course, 2-4 months each depending on training phase). I should also mention that I rarely get injured. No stress fractures ever, a mild case of plantar fasciitis once, and a freak twisted knee on a patch of ice. I do what I can for injury prevention while still working hard. Not even a black toenail yet!!!
