Bought this shoe about a year ago for faster workouts throughout XC season and into track. Was kind of skeptical of the super-grippy tread pattern that looked like it would last about ~20 miles before shearing off. However, at 100+ miles, the tread has held together very nicely. The toe-box is SUPER roomy, but otherwise the shoes fit very well all around. One complaint I have is with the heel, which has given me pretty nasty blisters on more than one occasion if I wear socks that are too short. The shoe as a whole is incredibly stiff and has minimal drop, which I why I swear by this shoe for any workout in track and XC that I'm not wearing spikes for.
