It's a good shoe. Train and ran 1 marathon in them and was injury free. Lasted a long time. Ordered a second pair online thinking it'd be the same shoe and I think the fit changed. The shoe I've got feels like the padding is weaker in the toe and the shoe is larger (not longer - my foot wiggles more in the toe than on the past shoe) and this results in the laces being tight only where the knot is. So they're kind of uncomfortable. Need to get new shoes but don't know if I want something less bulky, or if I need trainers and racing flats or spikes for road races and cross country runs.
Been in Mizuno's for about 10 years. For first nine years I loved them. When I first started with them they were th sudden and complete solution for my patella tendonitis. Now for last year they seem to have lost some cushioning in the fore foot and have become almost unwearable.
