After many years of lower leg injuries and trying "state-of-the-art" shoes that cost close to $200, I was getting frustrated. I finally happened to try the Brooks Ghost 7 and it has been a game-changer. Although a seemingly simple design, this shoe has saved my calves and Achilles'.

I wear a variety of shows depending on terrain ( I run a lot of trails) but this is my main road shoe. I have worn it from 5k to Half-marathon recently and the best compliment I can give it is that I rarely even think about my shoes/feet once I finish warming up.

Really happy with this shoe. Lightweight, responsive and durable. Would recommend for someone looking for a smooth ride on either roads or trails.

Been running in Ghosts for awhile now - it is simply the best show out there for me when I compare it against other shoes I have run in and trained in. It is a durable shoe that offers solid support but isn't overbearing or clunky. It weighs a little more than some of the more expensive shoes out there, but that isn't a detractor for me.

As with all my shoes the uper fell apart before anything else. The ride was good, not overly soft but still comfortable. As a nuetral runner with a midfoot strike I tend to do well with most shoes so long as the heel isn't too low (causes achilles pain or me) so I'm not sure the Ghost is really excpetional or not, but it works pretty well for me.
