In the past I've worn the Hoka Arahi and over all I didn't have any complaints.  However, I saw the reviews on the Kyano and thought, ok I'll try it.  I'm glad I did, they feel great, and the look great (I got the black with yellow and have received several compliments on its looks).  Anyway I'm glad I looked at your shoe reviews, they helped me find these shoes and I'm a convert.

I've bounced between various shoe makes and models over the years, and the Gel-Kayanos remain the best training shoe. While they're marketed as a "stability" shoe, they can still work well for neutral runners.

First off, I’m 68 years old and my “running” now is a slow, very slow jog compared to my youth. The newest version of the Kayano is redesigned for 2023.   Great cushioning on a very stable platform.   Quite comfortable on dirt or pavement.   Note on sizing…I’ve worn Gel Kayano’s for many, many years and through all of the updates US size 8.5 fit perfectly.   In this new edition size 9 gives me the right fit.

Was suffering with ankle pain as I prepared for my first marathon. These shoes got me through the marathon pain free thankfully. Expensive though so difficult to buy on a regular basis.

  • Been running in Kayano’s for 20 years-these are the best version yet

I like this version overs the 28-29’s. I have been wearing Kayanos mostly for the last 18-20 years, they just seem to work for me.I tried the SuperBlast and loved them until my knee started giving me problems.  I like the cushioning and I pronate so the stabiltity is good.

  • At first I thought, why do they change shoes that I like. Then I tried them and I love the new version

I wasn't an Asics fan prior to trying this shoe, but I now love them. My wife is even in Asics now. This shoe looks way better than it did in the past and it is extremely comfortable. Extremely pleased with it. I will be buying several more pairs. My prior shoe (Hoka Arahi 6) after a while gave me all sorts of issues. Everything was resolved once I switched shoes!

I have exclusively worn Asics shoes for at least 5 years. However, I've noticed a few differences with the pair I recently purchased. The toe room is smaller, and the arch support isn't as robust as I expected. Additionally, the cushioning doesn't absorb shock as effectively as other Asics shoes I've worn in the past. Despite these differences, I have been wearing this pair for approximately 30 days, putting in around 200 miles during that time. On a positive note, they seem to be durable.
