June 1, 2019

This week’s podcast looks at everything Stockholm Diamond League. First we start with the men’s 10,000m won by Rhonex Kipruto where Paul Chelimo did not get the World Championships standard.  Then we turn to the rest of the meet with Ajee’ Wilson kicking off the post Caster Semenya era, Michael Norman in the 400, Dina Asher-Smith in the 200, the big celebration of Karsten Warholm, and the men’s 800 where we debate whether Ryan Sanchez of Puerto Rico let up early.

Then we turn to CeCe Telfer, the transgender athlete who won the NCAA DII 400m hurdle women’s title, one year after she was competing in the men’s competition.

We then have threads of the week and announce that Jamin was poster of the week and wins a free pair of HOKA Carbon X shoes.

Finally in our HOKA ONE ONE sponsored segment Sage Canaday joins us to discuss the upcoming Comrades marathon where he will attempt to become the second American male winner. Highlights of Sage talk below.
