TERRE HAUTE, In — Northern Arizona University won its first NCAA title of any kind on Saturday at the NCAA Cross Country Championships which was historic enough. To top it off, NAU’s coach Eric Heins is retiring at the end of his month to move to Houston to be with his wife who works with NASA.
Heins talks about the historic win below and how he wasn’t sure his team had the victory.
