East Regionals Day 2 Tuohy was eliminated in the 1500. Just kidding. She won her heat in 4:19.08.
West Regionals Day 2 Utah Valley's Everlyn Kemboi, who for some reason was triple entered, jogged a 5:12 in the 1500 then won the 10k. In the 100, Kaila Jackson (10.95, +2.6) and Jacious Sears (10.97, +2.6) both broke 11. Britton Wilson ran 50.15, 54.08.

The Oregonian: How Portland State's Coach David Hepburn Cost Jordan MacIntosh A Chance To Make NCAAs Apparently MacIntosh was aware early in the season this might be an issue after they lost several athletes to the transfer portal. He said “I spoke to him (Hepburn) and asked if this was going to be a problem for us because I looked at our schedule, and I knew we missed one of (the meets). And he pretty much just told me not to worry about it, like he’s got it under control."

Indoor Track Gets A New Name

World Athletics Renaming Indoor Track To "Short Track" In Order To Allow For Hosting Outdoor Meets On A 200m Track

They say this will "allow more flexibility in the setting of 200m tracks" so that for example, if a city wants to build a temporary outdoor 200m track in a city square or train station, they can do that and still have it count for "short track" (formerly "indoor") records. This has no effect on traditional 400m outdoor track meets/records.
