He ran 3:59.56 to win the race over collegiate athletes and become the 18th high school to go sub-4.
- Bizarre: Coach Disqualifies Own Runner At Start Of Track Race The video shows the head coach and distance coach having an argument about it in front of the athlete and officials at the 1600m start line. The athlete ran under protest and qualified for Florida regionals, but as of now was DQ'd in the official results.
*MB: Fair or foul: HS Coach scratches athlete from state qualifying mile race as coach didn't like effort he gave in 800 - Sophia Beckmon Highlights Nike Jesuit Twilight Relays With #2 All-Time Prep Long Jump (6.80m) In the 100m, Mia Brahe-Pedersen won in a wind-aided 11.07 (tied for #4 prep all-time all-conditions) while Beckmon finished 2nd in 11.30.
Asigna Blazes 100m/200m Double
Asinga finished 3rd in the college race won by James Dadzie in a world-leading 19.79. Asinga also won the 100m in a wind-aided 9.89. Oklahoma's Kennedy Blackmon won the women's 100m over high schooler Adaejah Hodge (11.11). Hodge won the 200m in a wind-assisted 22.32 (+5.0 tailwind) which isthe second fastest high school time ever (all conditions).
*Note: Erriyon Knighton ran much faster (19.49), but his time didn't count as the official record because he had already gone pro.

- DyeStat Recap: "Villanova's Liam Murphy Plays Final Card In Wild Men's 4xMile" This was Villanova's 21st victory in the men's 4xmile. Josette Andrews destroyed the women's 1500m field, breaking the 27-year-old meet record in 4:04.88 and HSer Shawnti Jackson won the women's elite 200m in 23.11.

- Ryan Crouser Breaks 17-Year-Old Meet Shot Put Record Despite Flooded Ring He threw 22.38m from a puddle. World champ Chase Ealey won at women's SP in 19.12m. Nikki Hiltz won the 1500m in 4:09.02. Jamal Britt won $10,000 in prize money while running 13.29 in the 110H.
- Tia Jones Beats Star-Studded 100H Field With 12.44 At Drake Relays She beat out a field that included Nia Ali (12.67 in 3rd) and WR holder Tobi Amusan in 4th (12.69).
- Loras College Wins Drake Men's 4x800, Breaking D3 Record With 7:22.17 Their time beat the 1974 meet record and is #24 in NCAA history across all divisions. Brooke Mullins became the first athlete from Drake to win an event at this meet in 28-years (she took the steeple in 10:13). Edwin Kurgat (13:34.11) won the 5000m; Craig Nowak (8:35.27) took the steeple.

Adizero Road To Records
The 5ks were extremely close with Balew just beating out Yomif Kejelcha who was also timed at 13:06. On the women's side Senbere Teferi actually celebrated early by raising her arms, but was pipped at the line by Eisa as they were both timed at 14:46. In the men's 10k, Sawe beat out a good field that included Kibiwott Kandie 2nd (26:53), Nicholas Kimeli 3rd (26:54) and Rhonex Kipruto 4th (27:09). The half-marathons were won in 60:04 and 67:44.

Crazy High School Sprinting
With a 2.6 m/s tailwind, Asinga ran the fastest all-conditions prep time, beating Lyles' 9.92. High schooler Adaejah Hodge won the women's 100m in 11.12 and the 200m in a wind-aided 22.76.
In one of the most stunning performances in marathoning history, mile world record holder Sifan Hassan came from behind to win her marathon debut in London over arguably the greatest field ever assembled. Should we immediately declare her the GOAT women's distance running?
On a day when the conditions caused all of the other top male and female competitors to slow down and run positive splits, Kelvin Kiptum recorded the fastest half-marathon split in history during his second half and won by nearly three minutes. He certainly looks like the future WR holder and he's never lost a marathon. He was SPRINTING all out at the end despite destroying everyone.
Kipchoge speaks
Kipchoge said the issue began to bother him around 30K, which is exactly when he was dropped from the lead pack.

Hellen Obiri bided her time and then struck to pull away from a star-studded women's lead pack that included American Emma Bates.
The GOAT took it out hard (14:17 at 5k, 62:19 at half) but fizzled late and finished 6th in 2:09:23. Where does he go from here?
Bates led much of the race and ran a huge 2:22:10 pb to finish as top American and back up her big pre-race talk.
