Texas' and Ireland's Rhasidat Adeleke has alread surpassed her 2023 400 goals but now realizes a lot more is to come “Even though I do run 50.4 and 50.3, I don’t feel like I was at max capacity. I finish the race and I feel fine, so I definitely do feel there’s a big jump to come.”

USATF Half Champs

(link updated) The men's race was super close with Thomson winning by one second over Leonard Korir and Futsum Zienasellassie who were both timed at 62:39. The top five were separated by only 5 seconds. In the women's race Tuliamuk beat Lauren Paquette by 14 seconds; Molly Seidel was 8th in 1:13:08. *Discuss

WA World Indoor Tour Concludes in Birmingham on Sat

Tsegay missed the WR by only .09. The British w60, w800 and m1500 records fell as Gourley took down Josh Kerr and others to win the 1500 points title and book his ticket to 2024 World Indoors as Holloway crushed Roberts.

(Updated with interviews and race video) Nuguse went out fast, then let Mo Katir take the lead before crushing him late, 3:33.69 to 3:34.62. Grant Fisher was 5th in an outright pb of 3:34.99, good enough to move him to #5 on the all-time US list. Remember the altitude is worth just over 2 seconds. *Full Race Replay

    Beatrice Chebet, Jacob Kiplimo, and the sport of cross country were the big winners Down Under as Letesenbet Gidey was meters away from a win, collapsed and was DQd after her coach ran out on the course. *Video of Gidey

    Ellie Shea led the Americans to their first-ever U20 girls medal as she finised in 10th and they had 4 in the top 19.

    The US junior team executed a great race across the board and ended up with the bronze, its first medal since 1982.

    "I wasn’t expecting to throw a lifetime personal best, but I guess for me sometimes when I have high expectations, I tend to get a little bit tight. I was loose and relaxed and I connected on that ball with a feeling that I really haven’t had in, in the past," said Crouser. Video of throw above.
