No American man or woman has ever won the Diamond League 5k final, but Fisher & Alicia Monson will both be in the conversation in Zurich.

D'Amato and Emily Sisson both broke the course record as D'Amato beat out Sisson 1:04:29 to 1:04:35. Mantz ran 59:08 to win over Leonard Korir (59:13) and Sam Chelanga (59:15).

- NAU Men And Women Race To Dominant Win In Season Opener At Home Drew Bosley beat out Nico Young on the men's side by less than two seconds while NAU's Elise Stearns was second in the women's race won by Chinese pro runner Wuga He. - Taylor Ewert Wins Oklahoma State Cowboy Preview She lead Arkansas to victory in her first race in almost a year. They beat out Texas A&M 41 points to 56.
- OSU Men Win Home Meet At Cowboy Preview OSU's Alex Stitt won individually as they won over Arkansas, 42 points to 51.

- Nigeria's Commonwealth Games 4x100 Champ Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha Gets Provisional Doping Ban Nigeria won 4x100 gold in dramatic fashion over hosts England, but this suspension could lead them to lose their medals.

Ireland’s Ciara Mageean ran a four-second pb of 3:56 at age 30 to earn the first-ever DL win by an Irish athlete while Jake Wightman beat Emmanuel Korir to win the 800 in 1:43.65. Plus the win streaks for Mondo and SAFP were ended but not by Sha'Carri Richardson.
