Devon Allen Fails To Make Eagles Roster

Allen had a rough start to training camp, but things started to click and he was in contention for one of the 53 roster spots. He ultimately didn't make it, but is a "practice squad candidate" and has said that he wasn't giving up on the NFL even if he didn't make the Eagles roster.

Most of the other doubles at 2023 Worlds are pretty doable for potential doublers like Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Athing Mu, but the 1500, 5000, 10,000 triple looks to be impossible as is says Jonathan Gault. The good news is it could easily made to be quite doable.

Monson was steps away from winning but had to settle for 2nd in 8:26 as Francine Niyonsaba edged her because Monson let up ever so slightly and didn't lean at the line. Ingebrigtsen ran a world-leading 3:29.05 for 1500.
