Rome Diamond League Is Thursday

Women's Road Running
She won the race in 17:52 (4:48 pace) to beat out Annie Rodenfels by 2-seconds. Aliphine Tuliamuk was third in 18:08.
- After A Year Off Of Racing, Allie Ostrander Makes Her Return By Winning Freihofer's Run For Women In 15:48 Ostrander stepped away from the sport last year to get treatment for her eating disorder and said this win validated that decision. Allie Kieffer finished 27-seconds back in 2nd.
*MB: Allie is back baby! - Two Women Break Guinness World Record By Running 106 Marathons In 106 Days They beat the previous record by 11 marathons, although they initially only planned on doing 100, but upped it to 106 when two other women claimed to have set records at 101 and 104.
Stockholm Marathon Blunder
- Kenya's Felix Kirwa Wins Stockholm Marathon Despite Running Extra 1.1K After Being Sent The Wrong Way Twice By Blundering Officials Kirwa was one of three to go the wrong way and lose the lead, but he was still able to come back and win in 2:11:07. However, the mistake cost him getting the 2:10:10 CR. Ethiopia's Tsige Haileslase won the women's race in 2:31:48.

Another High School Sub-4
Three US HSers have gone sub-4 in the span of 2 days as Rheinhardt Harrison, who ran 4:01 as HS sophomore, got the job done in a HS-only race in Florida by running 3:59.33 despite erratic pacing where the 2nd lap was just 63.

For the first time ever 2 high schoolers went sub-4 in the mile in the same high school race and for just the second time ever a US high school junior has gone sub-4.
