Rome Diamond League Is Thursday

After finishing runner-up twice at NCAA indoors, Tuohy has run 4:06 and 15:14 to lead the NCAA this year. Plus can Courtney Wayment end her terrific NCAA career with a steeple title?

No NCAA women's indoor mile champ has gone on to win the 1500 outdoors in the same year since 2010 but Colorado's Micaela DeGenero will be tough to beat after closing in sub-60 to win Pac-12s.

Nur will be looking for his 3rd NCAA title in the 10k while Young is chasing his first against a strong 5k field.

A Moroccan has never won an NCAA distance title but two Moroccans have a legit shot this year as Moad Zahafi (1:43.69) and Anass Essayi (3:34.58) have gaudy pbs, but can they match the racing chops of indoor champs Brandon Miller & Mario Garcia Romo?

Three US HSers have gone sub-4 in the span of 2 days as Rheinhardt Harrison, who ran 4:01 as HS sophomore, got the job done in a HS-only race in Florida by running 3:59.33 despite erratic pacing where the 2nd lap was just 63.

    Sub-4 X 2

For the first time ever 2 high schoolers went sub-4 in the mile in the same high school race and for just the second time ever a US high school junior has gone sub-4.

Centro Vs Willis - Who You Got?

Earlier today best-selling author and huge track fan Malcolm Gladwell wrote, "(Matthew Centrowitz) doesn’t even belong in the same conversation as, say, Nick Willis, who never won gold but nonetheless was a threat to win every big race he entered for a good 10 years." What a ridiculous statement. We had to set the record straight.
