    Three US HSers have gone sub-4 in the span of 2 days as Rheinhardt Harrison, who ran 4:01 as HS sophomore, got the job done in a HS-only race in Florida by running 3:59.33 despite erratic pacing where the 2nd lap was just 63.

    For the first time ever 2 high schoolers went sub-4 in the mile in the same high school race and for just the second time ever a US high school junior has gone sub-4.

      Ahmed said he asked to be added to Friday's section of the 5,000 to face Cheptegei but was prevented from doing so. The next time someone complains about the lack of sellout crowds in Eugene, we'll remind them of this.
