- AW Extensive Weekly Round-Up Some more weekend track results included: 44.22 400m world lead from Olympic champ Steven Gardiner at LSU; Cambrea Sturgis with a 10.87 100m world lead at the Aggie Classic; Christian Coleman 19.92 200m at Kentucky Invy.

- GB's Matthew Hudson-Smith Runs European 400m Lead With 44.61 He finished 3rd at LSU behind Steven Gardiner's 44.22.
- Joyce Chepkemoi Wins Kenyan Defense Forces Champs 10,000m In 31:55.09 Judy Kiyeng won the 1500m in 4:08.00 over Kenyan national champion Winny Chebet (4:08.06). Hellen Obiri won the 5000m.

- Lithuania's Aleksandr Sorokin Breaks 100k World Best By Over 3 Minutes With 6:05:41 (5:53 Pace)
- Adam Peterman (8:31:58) And Jazmine Lowther (10:01:54) Break Course Records At Canyons By UTMB 100k
*MB: Sage's first ultra in 2 years- Canyons 100k Saturday Sage finished 18th place. - Kenyans Cosmas Muteti (2:06:53) And Vibian Chepkirui (2:20:59) Win Vienna City Marathon Both races were fairly close as Mutei won by 6 seconds and Chepkirui by 4.
- Kenyans Julius Tuwei (2:07:43) And Maurine Chepkemoi (2:21:10) Win Enschede Marathon In The Netherlands

She dominated the race by almost nine minutes, breaking the Ethiopian and German all-comers’ records. Kenya’s Cybrian Kotut ran 2:04:47 to just beat out Uganda's Stephen Kissa by a second. They both broke Eliud Kipchoge's 2:05:30 CR from 2013. *Discuss
- Eilish McColgan Sets UK 5k Record At Asics Meta:Time:Trials Event In Spain She ran 14:45 to break her own 14:48 record (Brit Beth Potter ran 14:41 last year, but there was no drug testing). Mohamed Katir won the men's race in 13:20, missing Jimmy Gressier’s European record by two seconds.
- Tsegay Kidanu (27:14) And Vicoty Chepngeno (31:39) Win Asics META: TIME : TRIALS 10k Mohamed Reda El Aaraby (59:54) and Yeshi Kalayu Chekole (67:30) won the half-marathon.
- Alexander Mutiso Wins Gifu Seiryu Half Marathon In Three-Way Sprint Finish Mutiso ran 59:56 to beat out Benard Koech (59:57) and Emmanuel Maru (59:58). Dolphine Nyaboke Omare won the women's race in 68:13 as Australia's Sinead Diver set the W45 age-group best with 69:00.

The splits: Matt Wisner (3:59.69), James West (4:01.82), Cole Hocker (3:57.31), Cooper Teare(3:53.24). There was a quick high school girl's 800m as Chloe Foerster won in 2:05.80. *Discuss

- MB: An American ran the #3 time in the world in a distance event last night. Ferlic 8:23 FTW steeple!!! Anthony Rotich was second (8:25.11).
- Oregon Relays Day 1: Wisconsin's Olin Hacker Wins 5000m In 13:19.34; Oregon's Aneta Konieczek Wins Steeple In 9:44.72 Konieczek, a Polish Olympian, just outkicked Oregon State's Grace Fetherstonhaugh (9:44.76). OTC's Angel Piccirillo won the 1500m in 4:13.45.
- Christian Noble Breaks D2 1500m Record With 3:36.00 Win At Oregon Relays He won in a close race with Oregon's Reed Brown (3:36.44). He also doubled back an hour later in the 5000m and ran 13:35.61 (5th place).
- DyeStat: 4:38 Anchor By Dalia Frias Highlights Oregon Relays High School DMR Races She came from 14-seconds back to give her team the win in a US#1 11:43.80.
- DyeStat: High Schooler Mia Brahe-Pedersen Runs 11.34/23.23 Double At Oregon Relays (Both US High School #1 This Year)

*Full Meet Results Yale's Kayley Delay won the steeple in 9:44.71 (4th fastest in the NCAA this year).
- Sadie Engelhardt Lowers Her Own Freshman National Record With 9:50.69 3200m Win At Ventura County Championships The time puts her #7 on the all-time high school 3200/2mile list. She then double backed less than twenty minutes later with a 57.2 split on the 4x400.

- MB: Freshman Keegan Smith runs 8:52.96 3200 (High School Freshman Record)
- MB: Ben Flanagan (3:44.98) takes down Hobbs Kessler (3:45.06) at 2022 Jesse Owens Classic in Kessler's outdoor debut Flanagan also won the 5000m in 14:10.
- MB: Robby Andrews and Ryan Hill raced 1500m tonight 3:42.77 for Andrews and 3:48.90 for Hill.

- Is the British Virgin Islands Adaejah Hodge the next sprint star? At age 16, she had quite a Carifta Games as she was the star of the meet, winning the U17 titles in the 100 (11.29) and 200 (23.42) and long jump (6.20w). That 11.29 is their national record.
- Toni Reavis writes about the "The Heroism of Endurance" on his way back from Boston
The middle miles were the fastest in race history and the finish was one for the ages as there were 7 lead changes in the final 1.2 miles.
Evans Chebet blasted a 13:55 5k from 35k to 40k to get the win in Boston as Scott Fauble executed a great race to be first American in 7th in 2:08:52 .
Fauble took a risk by leaving HOKA and entering 2022 unsponsored with new coach Joe Bosshard. On Monday, it paid off with a 2:08:52 pb.

Charles Philibert-Thiboutot (13:35) set a Canadian road 5k record to win the men's 5k while Annie Rodenfels took the women's mile.
Heather MacLean (3:14.92), Kendall Ellis (52.05), high schooler Roisin Willis (2:03.30), and Elle Purrier St. Pierre (4:23.55) crushed the indoor record and ran faster than the outdoor record, too.
Shelby H Responds To GDS Leaving The BTC
The American record holder at 5000 reacts to the Canadian record holder at 5000 leaving the Bowerman Track Club, saying in part, "I never wanted to have a negative impact on anyone in my decision to continue training and it hurts that I’m finding out that I did."

DeBues-Stafford says that while she has no reason to believe anyone on BTC is taking performance-enhancing drugs, the uncertainty surrounding the specifics of Bowerman and coach Jerry Schumacher's continuing relationship with the banned Shelby Houlihan was a "critical reason" for her departure.
