LRC Evan Jager Runs 8:35, Takes 2nd At Mt. SAC in First Steeple in 4 Years

The good news is Jager finished his first steeple in 1323 days. The bad news is Jager looked like a shell of his former self but we have four silver linings for you. In other action, Courtney Waymont (9:26.88) won the women's steeple, Dylan Jacobs (28:01.94) and Andrea Ramirez (32:37.62) won the 10,000s and Ayden Owens (8,528) may or may not have broken the CR in the decathlon.

Mt. Sac Golden Games will be broadcast live on CNBC (5-7 pm ET Sat) and men's 200 and women's 100 look incredible The men's 200 features Fred Kerley, Christain Coleman, Rai Benjamin and Michael Norman. The women's 100 has Elaine Thompson-Hera, Gabby Thomas and Terahna Daniels. Plus Bryce Hoppel and Raevyn Rogers in the 800s and Valarie Allman in the discus.

LRC Shelby Houlihan Issues Statement Regarding Gabriela DeBues-Stafford Leaving The Bowerman Track Club

The American record holder at 5000 reacts to the Canadian record holder at 5000 leaving the Bowerman Track Club, saying in part, "I never wanted to have a negative impact on anyone in my decision to continue training and it hurts that I’m finding out that I did."

DeBues-Stafford says that while she has no reason to believe anyone on BTC is taking performance-enhancing drugs, the uncertainty surrounding the specifics of Bowerman and coach Jerry Schumacher's continuing relationship with the banned Shelby Houlihan was a "critical reason" for her departure.
