It's the second fastest indoor 1500m ever behind her 3:53.09 WR. Olympic steeple silver medalist Lamecha Girma beat out Olympic 10,000m champ Selemon Barega in the 3000m, 7:31.09 to 7:31.39. Poland's Ewa Swoboda won the 60m sprint showdown with Elaine Thompson-Herah, 7.03 to 7.04. GB's Elliot Giles (1:45.42) and Australia's Catriona Bisset (2:00.16) won the 800s.

- Oklahoma City’s Zouhair Talbi Runs #3 All-Time 3000m With 7:40.39 Victory At Arkansas Qualifier The NAIA athlete beat out Arkansas’ Amon Kemboi (7:42.29) and Iowa State’s Wesley Kiptoo (7:43.81) who also moved into the NCAA all-time top-10 for 200-meter tracks. There was also a deep men's DMR which was won by Washington in a NCAA-leading 9:21.10 (#4 NCAA all-time).
- DyeStat: Notre Dame Men Lead Historically Deep DMR; Ole Miss Women Win At Alex Wilson Invitational Yared Nuguse anchored Notre Dame to 9:21.73, the fastest NCAA time ever on an oversized track, to beat out Ole Miss' 9:21.94 with the next five teams also breaking 9:25. In the women's race, Ole Miss ran 10:57.76 to just edge out Notre Dame's 10:57.84 as the top-4 were all sub-11.
- Virginia Tech Men And Women Roll In Fast Times At JDL DMR Invy They ran 9:32.96 and 11:00.20, but thanks to the flat track conversion, they currently rank 13th in the country for the men and 2nd for the women.

- Keely Hodgkinson Breaks British Indoor 800m Record With 1:57.20 Victory At The Muller Indoor Grand Prix The mark is #6 on the all-time list and the fastest indoor time since the 1:55.82 WR was set in 2002. Kenya's Collins Kipruto took the men's 800m in 1:45.39 to win over GB's Elliot Giles (1:45.42). 1500m wins went to Abel Kipsang (3:34.57) and Dawit Seyaum (4:04.35). In the PV, Mondo Duplantis set a new world lead with 6.05m and missed a close attempt at a would-be WR of 6.19m. Grant Holloway (60H in 7.41) bThompson-Herah (60m in 7.08), and Noah Lyles (60m in 6.55) won the sprints

- Blessing Okagbare Gets 10-Year Drug Ban For "Multiple Anti-Doping" Breaches She got 5-years for multiple drug offenses and 5-years for not cooperating with the investigation. At 33-years-old, the multiple time global medalist's career is most likely done.
- GB Lose Their Men's Olympic 4x100 Silver Medal From Tokyo 2020 Due To CJ Ujah's Doping Violation Ujah claims he "unknowingly consumed a contaminated substance."
- Irish Olympic Sprinter Leon Reid Sentenced On Cocaine Charges He was sentenced to 21 months, suspended for 18 months, and 220 hours unpaid work.

Jakob Ingebrigtsen got his WR but Gudaf Tsegay was denied hers after an early fall. There were world leaders for Natoya Goule (1:58.46) in the 800, Grant Holloway (7.35) in the 60 hurdles, and Dawit Seyaum (8:23.24) in the 3k.
