Swedish media are reporting that the Eritrian born athlete representing Sweden who won the recent European XC championships has been busted for doping. He is managed by Juan Pineda, of Pineda Sports. That comes within 48 hours of another Pineda athlete - Ethiopian Abadi Hadis - tragically dying in hospital of a mysterious 'complex illness'. It's not clear if Pineda managed the Ethiopian 10000m runner Berehanu Tsegu who failed a test late last year, but he has a remarkably similar profile to Hadis. Pineda also manages Dibaba and was the manager of Abraham Kiptum who came out of nowhere to smash the half-marathon world record and was promptly busted. It has long been speculated on these boards that Pineda Sports is simply a front for Jama Aden's group. According to Swedish media :

I spoke to the union captain Karin Torneklint earlier, who told me that the union, after the case of Meraf Bahta, printed information in several languages to reach all new arrivals.
Robel Fsiha is one of them.
But Fsiha was discussed in Swedish athletics long before this happened, when he chose the Spanish Juan Pineda as manager.
Pineda, who has close links with Somali coach Jama Aden, who has been involved in several doping controversies and has taken care of several athletes who have gone for doping.
In June 2016, Spanish police raided Adens and his active hotel in Spain and found several types of banned EPO.
Pineda generally has a bad reputation in athletics and many people reacted when Robel Fsiha chose him.
@Malmo - if you dare delete this thread I'm going to post it online myself and then Tweet it at Jonathan Gault, WADA, and the FBI every day for the rest of the year
