1) It's nice to see a small program get some real talent. I guess the Beasts have some other NCAA D1 champs but this doubles the number for them, right? Who else has won an NCAA d1 title for them?
Piliusina and Wynne are all I can think of . And I'm assuming Wynnes is with them but can anyone confirm that as he's not listed on the roster:

2) When I interviewed Nelson at NCAAs, I was thinking she came across as very impressive and I thought, "This would be a good sign for someone." Talented and motivated.
Here is the official press release:
I think you're forgetting one NCAA champ unless he's gone now
Was hoping Allie O would train with Huddle/Sisson or even the Bosshard group in Boulder
Allie took the best she could get. Even though she is a true distance runner, she signed with a mid-distance group because her steeple isn't fast enough to get a real contract with one of the big guys. Guessing she got a small 3 year contract that will allow her to survive until she realizes that the roads will be her future home.

Josh Kerr??
Any idea what Allie O's contract would look like? She's a big-time college name, but I would have no idea what she'd be getting paid by Brooks.
$100k? $200k?

+1
Why wouldn’t Ostrander sign with BTC, given she is a 3 time NCAA Steeple Champ and Pascal Dobert is a great Steeple Coach who took Jager from just starting out the steeple at BTC to a multiple time USA Champ and medalist? Allie O’s credentials in other distances are clearly as good if not better than any of the recent BTC female signees no? The steeple is an event you can PR majorly in and that clearly was her best event in college IMO.

I think personality wise she’s not what BTC usually goes for. They usually have more reserved, strictly business, quiet types(think houlihan, hall, frerichs) and I don’t think she would have fit in as she’s very opinionated. She probably didn’t pursue them either as it’s well known jerry doesn’t recruit athletes they usually go to him.
Guessing same reason she went to Boise state - she beats to her own drum. Doesn’t need the big group or the big name - it’s by for everyone
I'm trying not to sound rude, but if it were up to me I don't think I would necessarily want Ostrander. For one, she's about 20 seconds slower than my other steeplers, and I don't think she really has a huge upside.
Great athlete, and she'll probably have a solid career. The talent that Jerry gets though, I'd be surprised if Nike gave her a good offer.
Guessing $100k total across 3 years.
Are you on instagram? Pretty sure Quigley just had a write up about her 'brand' she pushed on social media. And centro is far from reserved. He is notorious for posting awful hip hop/rap songs on his stories and just being a general goof. I doubt personality has anything to do with it.
I don’t think that Bowerman has anyone on their team that’s represented by Ray Flynn. Ray represents Allie.
No matter where she goes she'll be a star! Go Allie go!
These are good signings for Brooks. Allie O is an interesting athlete and has got a cool personality. I wish them well.

Thanks, Mom!
Very opinionated? lol
LRC......where a woman sharing one public opinion in 4 years is very opinionated.
You consider not liking to an announcer saying you look like you should be playing with Barbies very opinionated?
