Listen, I think Kipchoge is great for the sport. He's a great, humble guy who's been money in the bank for 10 straight world marathon majors. However, his dominance is unprecedented in marathon running at a time when there is more money and talent in the sport than any time in history. The last time we saw an endurance athlete this dominant was Lance Armstrong. Before Lance the last time we saw this level of dominance was Miguel Indurain. Both accomplished feats in cycling that were unprecedented before their times. Lance is an admitted doper and Indurain dominated in the beginning of the EPO era. It's hard to imagine Kipchoge has pulled off this current run without PEDs.
Kipchoge gets a pass on these boards because he seems like a good guy while other seemingly shady guys like Mo Farah are frequently under suspicion. I just have to say at this point his string of performances seems too good to be believable without some chemical assistance.
