Windy as hell. Entertaining 4 x 800 as 4 teams were together coming off the final turn. Georgetown got the win. Anyone know the last time they won a men's relay at Penn?

I just looked at the Penn Relays site. The last Georgetown victory in the men's 4 x 8, dmr or 4 xmile had to be before 2009 as that's what listed below each result and there is no Georgetown on any of those events.
Georgetown SUCKS.
But where did that 3rd leg come from? Going into the turn he was nowhere to be seen, coming off the turn he was right there!
Only one guy sub 1:50 split? Wind must’ve been bad. Or maybe tactical.
Drake had several more quick splits last nite. Should be a good men’s DMR lined up today. OSU, Iowa State, Iowa, and defending champs Tulsa.
How’s the weather at Drake?

I agree. I was thinking no other teams had a shot and then all of the sudden he was right there. Then I figured the split must have been super fast but it wasn't. Strange.
Indiana won their 1st ever title in the women's 4 x 800 but let's here for Monmouth's Allie Wilson (2:02.29) and Penn's Nia Akins (2:02.33). Very impressive in that wind.

His split must have been decently fast, though. Split timing measurement inaccuracy?
Let’s see if BAH men can deliver
All the hype for BaH was for naught.
CAN womens 4x100 looked food, had it not been for an absolutely crap 2nd exchange, they would have been pretty close to JAM

I saw that. Seriously, why anyone runs the 800 is beyond me. Ip to 300m, ok—and 3k or above, ok—but anywhere in-between, ugh

Yes, and this is why T&F is not on TV that much. It is very boring to watch these meaningless relays. Plus a whole track meet can take hours to watch. It's just not a TV friendly sport.
What is with the weird track where everyone is running out in lane 4 during the relays??
Lanes 1-3 are less than 400 meters.

Why would you build a track with lanes 1-3 less than 400m?

Disagree. Relays are the best! Especially early-season when individuals aren’t at their best. The variations make for both good racing, and good races within the races.
NBC sucks, though, for sure. Sometimes I mute their inane commentary.
I believe it was built as a 6 lane track, and then they needed to expand it to 9 lanes, but had no room on the outside, so they went inside.
