Scott Fauble in 2nd, Leonard Korir in 3rd.
I would wager that Fauble makes US Olympic Team in marathon with Rupp
Quite the breakthrough out of nowhere for trap money Benny since his senior outdoor 10k win at Michigan. Now he takes down this pro race, very nice.
Still wearing his Michigan singlet. Has any company signed Flanagan yet? Seems like a good guy with some North American popularity with his infamous "where's my mom" quote. Most importantly, he definitely seems like a guy that can win races with his kick. As a company rep, he's a runner that I would like to sign.

That was the cringiest soyest thing I've ever seen.
Sure, sprinters overdo it with their swagger, thugmaxxing, etc. but distance runners don't need to occupy the opposite end of the spectrum. Be cool, be confident; don't be a beta.

Spoken like the beta you are.
I like sincerity, humility, gratitude, finding bigger meaning in our accomplishments, recognizing how we are connected and need each other to reach greatness. . Go ahead and think it really is cool to flex your muscles and say “I’m the greatest”, but I respect the great runners who give credit to those who made it possible.
It seemed like his genuinely authentic reaction. It's not like he was trying, at that moment, to think about how what he said/did right after winning might affect a future contract, or how may views or likes it would get on social media. I think people connect better to that, than say, Nick Symmonds' stunts.

Has Ben hired an agent? It seems ridiculous that he is not found a sponsor. He needs to strike while the iron is hot. He will never be worth more than he is right now. I understand that he is not American and that his worth is not quite as much but Ben not having a contract is ridiculous.

Only on LRC would his reaction not be a good one. Tough crowd. It was genuine and certainly earned him some publicity. He should definitely have a shoe contract coming his way. He also finished 2nd at the Bix 7 miler. He could turn into a top notch road runner with his closing speed. Let's see him on the roads 10k to the half marathon. Maybe he'll run the US 20k Champs.
slowest win since 1990

no, since 2001, moran.
https://falmouthroadrace.com/past-winners/He's Canadian. another non American winning a us collegiate championship.
Awesome! Glad a N. American won this. Breaks the streak of 20+ years of e. Africans winning. Looks like the doping control is catching up to them. A good day!!
Well, where are the results?
It was a fun race to run. The weather today was much cooler than the previous 2 years I ran, but the headwind was stronger.

Get out of here with your incel terms. Calling someone "soy" or any derivative of that outs you for what you are.

Do you think Flanagan is a lock to make the marathon team for Canada? After all Fauble is more experienced and has a faster pb for 10k and he just lost for 7 miles.
He stole a page from KD’s playbook: “Mom, you da real MVP!”
