4:38.39 if my math is correct.
Bravo.
73.14, 71.76, 68.99, 64.52.
I wonder how many women in that field can't run that fast all out for 1600?
Congrats to her and Stephanie Bruce. Bruce had 60 days of recovery from London and was third.

Rupp-esque

How is it Rupp-esque? She led all 25 laps of the race. Every single step.
Other than being really good, I don't see how she's like Rupp at all.
Didn't rupp have a streak of 10k titles at some point? 9?
And while wearing flats, not track spikes.

SUB 2:20 AND SHE WILL BREAK DEENA'S AR IN THE MARATHON. It's coming!
and a week ago she was racing against Keitany in the mini 10k. She understands that you can't totally throw away the fast
stuff. You still have to run 10ks and halves. She is learning from the great mary k on how to be a blazer.

Exactly. Rupp has Olympic hardware. Huddle is just another good runner who isn't quite good enough yet.
They said in the three days after Boston she had a root canal and her wisdom teeth out.
Boston must have been so uncomfortable for her.
Lol, she ran a 2:50 marathon...and you're saying it's impressive she ran a final 4:38 1600 at the end of a 31 high 10k 66 days after boston?
I was a 30:20/2:27 (only ran the marathon twice) and could have run a 2:50 marathon as a long run, and then a day or two later run 31:high for 10k with a 4:38 last 1600.
Molly Huddle is a much better runner than me so why is her performance anything special?

I've run Boston in 230 and 248 . The 2:48 had almost exactly the same 40k to finish split as Molly's this past year (like 13 minutes). The 2:48 was waaay harder to recover from.

How many US titles have you won?

You are actually a very good runner and a similar level to Molly Huddle.
I'm a guy, so the biggest titles I won were local road races. I worked full time and trained as hard as I felt like.
Molly is a better runner than me, and on any given Sunday I could have gone out and run 2:50 for a marathon. Then Tuesday showed up on the track and ran exactly what she did last night as a workout. It would have been a nice, solid workout. I wouldn't have needed 66 days of recovery between the two.
So tell me, how is what Molly did anything other than a workout for her? Are workouts impressive?

I would say that is a little more than a workout when the weather was 40F out and there was a 25+ mph headwind going against you and you suffered from hypothermia.
66 Days!? 1/6 of a year...two months...
That’s insane. She’s clearly a running machine...66 days after a marathon she ran a 10k...wow...is she a mutant?! Is she made out of Teflon? I wonder how many world records she broke by running and winning a 10k, 66 days after not winning a marathon. She’s almost like Jesus personified (but just to be clear, Jesus was a guy).
She is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

Well done, play that while she is racing and forget about it.
That's only a minute and 39 seconds off her best time.

Because she's a woman. And you're a wannabe guy.
