The USATF Half Champs are in the City of Champions on Sunday at 7 am.
USATF.TV will have live updates. Looks like there is no stream.
Leonard Korir, who is a sub 1 hour guy, leads the men's field with Chris Derrick.
On the women's side Aliphine Tuliamuk has the best PB of 1:09:16 along with Sara Hall 1:09:37 but more focus will be to see how Gwen Jorgensen does in her competitive half debut. She's run the US 10 Mile Champs before and the NYC Marathon but this is her real test in the half marathon.
Aliphine has not been running that great this year as she was 14th in Houston (71:41) and 11th in NY (74:28 terrible conditions, Des Linden was 8th in that race). Sara Hall has run 71:25 and 72:01 this year
Gwen most recently ran 31:55 for 10k which is equivalent to 1:10:20 for the half marathon according to the Jack Daniels calculator. Gwen ran 15:15 for 5k back in February which equals 1:09:48 according to Daniels
Course has a full 100 foot climb on mile 12 so times may go out the window (Last year race wasn't US champs but was won in 1:12)
