All Lies. Any rational person would know that turtle blood and caterpillar fungus made these runners fast, not doping.
Sadly this is really something that we already knew, you could substitute Russia, Romania, East Germany, Ukraine and Czechoslovakia into this article and it would sound identical.

And yet the USA has won more olympic medals than any of those countries....

That's because we're exceptional! Plus, all those other countries you just listed have disgusting, amoral cultures in which lying and cheating is the norm and is actively encouraged. They all also speak awful bug languages.
I spent 6 months studying abroad in Kunming, China (6200 ft elevation, the Colorado Springs of China) and was able to use the Hongta National Training Center as an invited guest of the Chinese athletic association. I trained mainly with the marathon group, but in the training room I personally saw Sun Yang (WR holder in 1500 m freestyle swim) use what I believe to be EPO. He was getting injections and I was even offered to try a cycle. The Chinese Olympians are very dirty, but with the national party's pressure to win gold medals it's a win at all costs mentality.

This little tidbit is very interesting to me. It is well known that Yang had a doping offense swept under the rug by CHINADA in 2014. Please elaborate a little bit more. What was the time table where you were training in China and when did you witness Yang receiving injections? Also, were there other competitive swimmers present? Thanks.
This is the same WADA who hired Rodchenkov to become lab Director in London 2012 , despite knowing about his criminal past.# DoubleThink

Russian Troll Bots on LR!
Wejo/Rojo.....you have made it!
I was in China in the fall of 2012. I witness him doping around mid October during what he said was a heavy training phase before getting back into competition. There were other swimmers present and a few of them took the EPO, but I didn't recognize any of them.

I don't think any country is different at the top level. Look at the UK with BS cover ups of their cyclists and all the BS excuses given by Wiggins et al , look at the US with all their cover ups at the LA games, look at the Italians with their blood doping, look at West German doping in the 1980s etc etc ...

The Russian trolls have been here for quite awhile. Write anything anti-Russia and they come out.

Very interesting. This was after the London Olympic Games where Yang made a mockery of the men's 1500 record and his teammate, Ye Shiwen, obliterated the women's 400 IM record (which led to widespread outrage because her freestyle split was faster than Ryan Lochte's). You must have been one of the few observers who was not surprised by either of those results. ;)
Interestingly, Yang was (reputedly) suspended for a whopping three months for using trimetazidine and not epo. Maybe, because of this new information, the truth will finally come out. If we thought that it was challenging getting to the bottom of Russia's systematic doping, though, I can only imagine how difficult it will be to uncover any information about China's nefarious behavior. Thanks again for sharing.
To be fair to WADA, in 2012 they were not setup, nor had the mandate, to do anything about Xue's comments. WADA was setup to provide a common set of anti-doping standards, and to provide accreditation to anti-doping labs that conform to these standards, creating a framework for consistent anti-doping detection and enforcement. It was not their job to act as the police for all of the signatories' anti-doping efforts. This is what we saw with the Stepanov's -- WADA's failure to act was largely one of a lack of mandate and resources to do anything other than refer whistleblowers back to the very federations and NADO's that were the cause of the whistleblowing. Only in 2015, did WADA setup an ability to conduct investigations, and at that time, the top priority was Russia. What can be the result of today's WADA investigation? They weren't yet formed in the 80's and 90's, and can't go back and change those results. It's interesting to think what anti-doping rules were even in effect at that time, and whose job it would have been to enforce them. What were China's anti-doping obligations, and to whom? From the article, WADA will look into how long such doping continued. If it continued into the 2000's and until today -- that would be something that could lead WADA to make recommendations, for the IOC, or for individual sports federations.

Do you want to come public with this charge? I think you should. Have you contacted WADA? The statue of limitations would not be over I don't think.
Please email us if you are interested in going public or contacting WADA.

+1, obviously. Don't forget Spain!

Faaaaaaaalse
It's the sports federations that never test their athletes positive. NADOs don't have any authority to sanction anyone. They host test results from labs they have no authority over. They are effectively "mall cops."
The LRC Russian troll is still spreading this bit of misinformation. It doesn't help the sports federations say the same thing.
