Does this mean we can not use the main Berlin stream? I'm in Ireland, one of 100 countries listed. Eurosport has not covered for the past several years.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't see the US listed there, does that mean I can see the live stream somewhere else or is Flotrack going to make a "huge announcement" on Saturday that the US is also privileged enough to pay to watch on Flotrack?
interesting the US isn't on their list... yet. i'd love to watch a rebroadcast of the race at say 9am ET or later on Sunday. Just can't bring myself to do the 3-5am situation.

That hype video though 😳
on TV Sunday 2-5am CST NBCSN; no replays.
Berlin has been listed form the start as part of the NBC Gold package and I doubt they would give up their rights to Flocrap
Just checked and it is on the NBC Gold schedule for 2:30 am Sunday (live)

Ugh ... NBC = A series of human interest mini-documentaries interspersed with bits of "race-analysts" talking nonsense with a few accidentally showings of people running in the background.
The DL and marathon events that have moved over from a few different networks are not like that. But the announcers are sitting somewhere in the US and describing what they see from TV monitors while getting info by reading tweets and text from friends in Europe watching the event.

The meet on the US is free on tv on NBCSN at 3 am ET. So if you have cable tv in the US, it's free.

Just download the zenmate chrome extension. Germany is one of their free countries. Switch your IP to Germany and watch the German stream.

Then when the meet is over take off the zenmate extension.

this is by far the stupidest statement
Since when is buying cable free?

yes, alternatively I've had success with Hola for Chrome in the past. I'm sure it will be broadcasted on ARD or ZDF, public german channels.
FloTrack is good for the sport.
Because the more they become the exclusive provider for meets and races, the more people will consider if paying to watch a live stream recorded on a calculator is worth paying more to go and actually watch the race yourself. As long as the NCAA CC meet is within driving distance, I will always go and watch myself before I would pay to watch on FloTrack (who wouldn't?) but if NBC was broadcasting it and it was ~10 hours away, I would probably stay at home.
They are truly the heroes we don't deserve.
What is "driving distance"?

I'll drive if I can get to my final destination realistically in a day. If I have to stop and stay the night somewhere along the way, I would likely fly. ~15 hours at the most probably.
Meaning Berlin is not within diving distance sadly.
But if it was less than 15 hours away and FloTrack was the only one showing it, I'm going there myself before I pay them a dollar.

On ARD, yes. (German television) Should be streamed live on their website, too.

You make a good point. I've come to the conclusion that having these meets live streamed or on tv isn't nessarily great. It takes away the incentive to be there.
Yes it disadvantages parents without money and is way cheaper for them but it dilutes the attendance at the meet.
If I was hosting a HS meet or even a small pro meet, I might broadcast it on the internet but not to anywhere close to the meet. I want the track fans within 3 hours to show up.
