A LetsRun.com investigation reveals that the highly vaunted Apple iphone is incapable of properly recording a solar eclipse? Is it time to short AAPL?

Is it time to short AAPL?
No disclaimer as to whether any LRC principals or employees have positions in AAPL?

Oh, good point. I forgot. While some in our industry regularly film advertorials that they market as interviews, we here try to point out our conflicts of interest.
I just shorted Apple to the tune of $10,000.
Joking.
I don't own any Apple stock.

If you were short AAPL, you wouldn't own any Apple stock...

How so? Shorting a held stock through options is a common form of protection against a possible decline.
One of the dumbest things I have ever seen posted on this website.
Typical getting off topic. The point is that the camera is not capable of recording the eclipse, indicating that the I phone uses and inferior lens or the producer did not use a filter....

You just need a good pegging
My iPhone recorded the solar eclipse:

I was able to get a photo of the eclipse through solar eclipse glasses and polarized sunglasses but it sucks from my 6s plus. Just through the glasses sucked - but polarized helped cut down the light.
Whoa, careful where you post that pic, I don't have my glasses on.

If you took the picture while getting pegged it would have came out clear according to experts

I did get a pre-eclipse knobber from my husband but no pegging.
Let's stick to running and next time go a little easier on the Dark Star wine.
Shorting a stock has nothing to do with options. Puts and calls are options.
Shorting is borrowing stock and selling, than buying stock back later on to repay your loan.

Technically, yes. But you can still go short on a stock by selling calls.
You are an idiot.
As I said, you need a filter. Apparently other posters are clueless to how cameras work.
