Anyone ever use and have any reviews/thoughts on the Nike Triax Elite Heart Rate/Speed-Distance Monitor, or the Fitsense FS-1 monitor?

I use the Nike, and despite all the slams you'll see here, have had great luck w/ their watches.
The SDM is extremely accurate once you calibrate it. When I ran Crim last August is registered 9.97 miles for the 10 mile course.
it told me that papa john's was 10.00 miles so i know it must be accurate
i tried the FS-1, and it did not work for me. i don't know why, but for the first few miles it would tell me i was running say 5:30 pace when i might be running 6:30 pace. However after a few miles it seemed to get on track, and i would compare it to miles i measured out and it was nearly perfect. Maybe your stride will be such that it does not react this way.
The nike distance monitor was pretty good as well. When you calibrate it you need to make sure you are warmed up and will keep a decently constant gait. If you do change your form, the pace can be effected. It happened to me when i developed tendonitis in my knee last year and compensated for it. The small adjustment changed readings but up to 30 sec/mile.
