Theres a kid at my school that ran a 6.24 60 yard dash and I was wondering what that would be converted to in meters. Like what kind of time would he have in the 55 or 60 meter dash. Thanks

It's pretty much the same as a 55m dash. If it's FAT and all that it could be a very good time. I believe that would convert to a 6.70 60m dash roughly. That would nearly make the NCAA meet.

36.6m test is often used to determine raw speed. hope this helps
Use your math skills and do it yourself. It's not that difficult.
60 yards x 3 feet x 12 inches x 2.54 cm x 100 = 54.864m
(60 yards = 54.864 meters)
6.24 sec/54.864m x 55m = 6.26 seconds
6.24 sec/54.864m x 60m = 6.82 seconds

You're right, 60 yards is nearly 55m, however, you don't get 6.82 from a 6.26 55m. The extra 5m is faster than the average speed of the previous 55m, so you don't add 0.56, you add more like 0.45, that's the NCAA 55m to 60m conversion.
