My bad I forgot where I was posting too
!!!! Get him a sponsorship!
3:57!!! Now that's what I'm talk'in about!
I didn't think he would break 4min this season with his past season results. Very impressive tonight! Very stoked for him!
Much more exciting than Opening Ceremony hype! Mikey, we're all over the moon thrilled for your success!
I'm pretty sure there are some D-1 T&F coaches who were wishing there was a workaround to get him enrolled in their schools.
It's a shame that accommodations weren't made to allow his admission. I would hazard to guess that are quite a few FB and BB players who got in under special circumstances.
Those FB and BB players rarely attend class. They could care less. Not so with Mike, he takes his studies seriously, same as his running.

There are some Universities that actually make room for kids like Brannigan. I think that Clemson has a program.
Great to see him do well.
Holy crap! Did not expect this. Mikey you're amazing!!!
Raced against him in high school last year. Great to see him doing so well with nyac now
I've been talking with Mikey doing some interviews and stuff. He said he has been waiting for the opportunity to run sub 4 at that race. I guess he's a man to knows what he is taking about!
Absolutely LOVE Mikey! This kid is nothing but likable. Hope he is able to continue his running efforts for the forceable future.
Wow, I'm so happy for the guy!
A few tenths off of Hunter, and only 10 months older.
This is incredible. To be honest when he couldn't get the whole NCAA thing figured out and had to run for NYAC at community college, I thought it might be the end of his serious running career.
Now, from 4:03 to 3:57, and this is in a season running 1:50 for 800m and 14:30 for 5000m. I can hardly believe it.
Does anyone have any insight into what his training has been like? Have any of his recent workouts indicated something like this level of fitness? Who exactly has he been training with -- does NYAC have elite milers?

They do now.
Think any NCAA coaches are looking around for scholarship money for him right now?
