He was in pretty good shape 3 years ago but I have not heard anything about him the entire year and even last year. DId he just burn out and get bad or is he trying to come back from an injury? Is he gonna make the Olympic team?

Remember that "700" he ran at USA Outdoors last year? LOL? Welcome to the "Twilight Zone."

He's still in the twighlight zone
No US runner faster in the past 20 years.
If you peaked early in 2015, how might you adjust your racing schedule?
If healthy, his workouts tell him if he is fit.
He is on the start list for the Jerome Classic. http://www.harryjerome.com/news-from-the-track/2016/6/14/updated-start-list-jerome-track-classic
still lugging that piano around I guess
He ran 1:45 at Mt. Sac and won there, but that's all I know...and that was almost 2 months ago. Not sure if he's trying to be careful or not. I think he's got a shot at the Olympic team but it's hard to say honestly given how dominant Berian has been and how ridiculously fast Brazier has run...if Brazier runs the trials (which I really, really hope he does) and if Berian gets his legal situation together, it's gonna be a really hard task to get that third spot. Only time will tell.

He put up marks in April that would put him squarely in the fight for 3rd. That said, per his lack of racing and his social media he looks to be working on some injuries/nags:
400m 46.34 Jacksonville (USA) 04.05.2016
800m 1:45.47 Walnut (USA) 16.04.2016
I guess we'll see where he's at on Friday in Van.
He's alive....tweeted a link to an instagram post within the last few hours. I think he likes being home with his family. He'll be there in Eugene when it matters.

Berian and Brazier both show up at the Trials healthy, 3rd is the only spot left for him to fight for. The shocking thing to me about Brazier 1:43.55 was that he looked to me like he could've gone 1:42.xx in a deeper race.
Actually, should he shop up I suspect he will try and win.
I meant 'show' up...
I'm betting on Solomon doing a big buildup for this championship and then retiring. It's a shame that when people are taking themselves more seriously they race less. Duane's best years are behind him. This is his last shot. (age 31)
getting ready to accept his bronze medal after cheater nijel amos is outed!

If Johnny's still coaching him it doesn't matter who shows up, he will be toast.
Johnny's ego coaching blew him out of there last trials, lets hope they have learned and Johnny keeps his ego out of this.

"...blew him out of there last trials."???
He did make the Olympic team the last trials......and then got 4th at the Oly Games.
I believe he means the 2015 trials. The ones before the world championships last year, so yeah he made a good point.
