Did anyone else notice that Mo ("Slow") Farah ran really sloppy today?
His is right leg hurt? He is pumping his right arm far too much.

What happened to the running technique session with John Smith?

Just another set up race to make Farah look like a world beater against soft competition.
He is off form. That means he is likely ignoring his coaches and doing it the old Mo way. No gold for him this year.
Well... That was a 2 second PB for him and a GB record... Not sure that it was horrible. For some reason, his 3000s are never very good. His performance today (although his best ever) is not even a single age world best. Bauman ran 7:30 at age 33.
With his great 1500m and very good 5000, you would think that his 3000m should be great, but it's not.

Except he doesn't have a very good 5000. His last fast 5000 was like 4 years ago. Who knows what 5000 shape he has been in or is currently in????

I believe that his 1500>5000>3000
To be honest, I don't mind ventolin's posts.
Mo won, which is all that he cares about. Hopefully the Kenyans and Ethiopians put him in his place in Rio.
Its a stretch to believe that mo was ever in 7-16 shape.more like 7-23
Better athletes have tried and failed at 3000

Mo shouldn't even dream of touching 7:20. Even suggesting that 7:16 is possible for Mo reveals Ventolin's insanity.
You're what, 1 for 200 on predictions Ventolin?

What a great title for a thread! I think you also really hit the head on the nail with your sentence: "His is right leg hurt?"
I don't know. He seemed fine when I saw him running in Flagstaff, Az. earlier this year. He did seem very "sloppy" today.
Alberto should be doing more video analysis with KT duct tape in his impossible quest to have his runners somehow have the form of Bekele or Dibaba(s).
Mo should also be really worried because there is a breaking story on the front page of Letsrun.com that Galen Rupp is going to race at much shorter distances than usual in an attempt to refine his speed. Here is the headline from the front page:
Galen Rupp And Matt Centrowitz Racing Portland Track Festival Next Weekend Centro is entered in the 800 and 1,500, Rupp in the 500. *Meet Info
I wonder if MoBot is worried about this new "speed racer" approach by Galen Rupp leading up to Rio.

Holy shit I cannot remember seeing a pro look less comfortable leading a race. Good thing he had those sunglasses on to conceal that effort 😳

This is not true. Those athletes never got the same pacing opportunities that Komen got.
Haha Rupp is running the 5k, not the 500. The brojos couldn't figure out how to get that extra "0" in.

Wow, agreed. Looks to be hurting more than he should in an even paced 7:32.
Farah is 33 now. Cut the guy some slack.

...need to get a life.
Was the course hilly?
it was as hilly as a pancake
Mo looked horrible ,not sure how he mustered 7 32 ???
Yet in Rio there are 2 gold medals waiting for him on silver platter #OneMoMile
