The 400 & 1500 WRs are under threat & i'd add in TJ whenever Taylor jumps
If this meet has anything worse than 43.5+ & 3'27+, a refund shoud be demanded !

I do think seeing Asbel's current speed, with endurance already built-in by winter, he coud probably run 3'25, possibly even into 3'24-high this year
His current speed is incredible if you find the vids composite here for recent 1'44.6 at 7,000' :
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?board=1&id=7225996&thread=7225996#7225996
At this time of year, i'd doubt you get pacing for him better than
~ 2'34.0, limiting him to 3'27+ as he may ease off slightly knowing WR lost by bell
If he gets smooth drafting thru 54-high / 1'49-low / 2'31-low, he can break WR
Silas & Manganoi can get you WR in Doha as they can pace him thru in 2'31-low, perhaps even to the 2'30-high he would like
It's unlikely to happen
However, look for 2'34.0 at bell for any serious clocking
I'd add in that Lashawn looks over-racing to me & shouda skipped drake relays if running doha
He needs to get clued-up in OG year
Anyhows, if his toes have "unfrozen" from drake, run
~ 43.3 / 43.4 / 43.5
in doha, shut-up shop & do some jogfests on diamond league circuit until trials
Semenya runs away from the other ladies by going 1:57.5 or a couple of tick better
First steeple of the year for the women will we see a lot of shows of fitness with quick times?
400 won by Merritt in 43 high/44 low
1500 won by Kiprop in 3:30+
Caster Semenya runs 1:58 low
Triple jump 17.70
pure speculation on my part wrote:Semenya runs away from the other ladies by going 1:57.5 or a couple of tick better
that recent -ve split 1'58 following a quick 400 before indicates fully rested 2s +ve split 800 of
~ 1'54+
it's a matter of whether she wants to psychologically destroy all the 800 gals in the world & get them to "hand over the gold" to her already or not...
Qatar has been waging open jihad for several years, causing the death and displacement of millions of people. Boycott.
Sorry Vent, Kiprop doesn't look like he will be running any 3:24s or 1:40s this year :(
“I’m not going to attempt a world record time this season," he said. "This is an Olympic year and my only priority is to win in Rio. I think that’s what every athlete will aim at."

Looks like he will prepare for championship racing, not fast time trials.
The real world. Take it in.
And he ran 1:45.11 now.
How weird that I posted and this thread didn't go to the top of the list.

3:32 for Kiprop.

Another BRILLIANT prediction by the vent man!
Spot on from Vent, like always,
Just predict sensational times for every meet. One day they will come and you have proved to be a genious.

Well I was a lot closer than the Calculator^3.
Go Metric Miler!

I've seen that happen in threads where Vent is flagrantly incorrect as well. I'm not sure what that's about.
Clearly the track is fast. How come Lashawn and Asbel "bombed"?

Lashawn seemd to me to have gone out a bit too fast.
Asbel... I don't know, they did let him get away but he didn't look that comfortable in the last lap.

Uh, yeah he did. He was jogging with 300 to go and waving to the crowd in the home stretch.

Drivel.
Did you see Kiprop have to run wide around the rabbit 1000m in? He ran an extra 34.3 meters in that half turn. Basic Math.
That would easily be 3:27 intrinsic.
