Scroll down for the post. She claims to have already run a 51:31 on the course. Who is she??

From the area, I've never heard of her. Not an easy course, either. I call shenanigans.
She probably ran the 4 mile course in 51 minutes.
No athlinks
No Google
Maybe just got married?
If you facebook her, there's a Jill Greathouse who has Upper Bucks Foot and Ankle listed in her profile so that's obviously the woman. Not a lot of photos of just her, but she doesn't look like a potential 10 mile record breaker at all.
I also call shenanigans. Unless she plans to Rossi it, of course.
Probably one or two typos. Perhaps a wrong auto tag from facebook.
Damn you technology!

Same. I was shocked to see that a local woman was trying to break 52.
Good, good on her. Great to see an American runner who isn't afraid to "GO FOR IT".
I wish her the best in this endeavor.
Huddle 51:44. Paula 51:11? It isn't possible.
"Second exciting development...local runner Jill Greathouse will be attempting to break the American Female 10 mile record at this year's race! She had an unofficial time of 51:31 during a training run on our course, beating the current 10 mile record by 9 seconds! We are in the process of having the course USATF certified, so Jill can go for the Official record on March 6th. "
Yeah I ran a 1:46 800. It was a relay split. My open is only 2:03. Ran in pure hate
Before anyone goes too crazy here, my guess is that this little scenario is just a case of ignorance. Maybe someone from the area can reach out to the race director and get the details. Poor lady probably has no idea what is going on.
OP, just so you know:
If you click the time/date of the post, you can link directly to the specific post to which you are referring. For future use. Hope it helps.

Thanks, I was wondering if you could do that.
One of those km=mile people.
All this means is that someone from this damn site better be showing up at this race and running with her the entire time to make sure there are no shenanigans. Surely everyone on here can run 51 minutes for a 10 miler, right? RIGHT?!
Another exciting development. Jill Greathouse, according to her FB profile, also works for/at Upper Bucks Foot and Ankle. Why is this exciting? Because they have recently been named the title sponsor!

Technically speaking, any person could say they are attempting to break the world record in any race. It doesn't mean they have a shot in hell, but no one is stopping you from saying you are attempting it.

The race FB page says she is the current course record holder. Wasn't her time 52: something? If that is true, I don't think it is personally, she does have a legit shot.
You can change the dropdowns on the page for year/distance. I don't see anyone there with a 52 minute 10 mile time.

You are right. The FB post didn't mention an 'official' time just that she ran an 'unofficial' record of 51:31 on a training run.

10 miles (road) 50:05+ Mary Jepkosgei Keitany 18 February 2011 - RAK Half
I was going say that there are no women doing 10 mile training runs in 51:30, but there is probably someone in Kenya who can do it.
