Running NY in a couple of weeks. I am hoping for somewhere in the high 240s to low 250s. I'm in shape, I have a pretty good idea what the course is like elevation wise. I've run a number of marathons, so I should be okay with pacing.
My question for everyone is - I signed up for the 5:30 bus. I am obviously going to be with the masses in the park just hanging out for a couple of hours pre-race.
I'm looking for suggestions on what to bring, what to do, etc... before it's time to warm up and make my way to the corral? Also, how much time should I give myself? I'm in the first start, corral 1.
Tips, helpful recommendations, anything so that when it's time to run I'm ready - are much appreciated. Thanks.
