I've been in Paris studying all month, and have tickets to the Paris Diamond league meet. Does anybody know what hotel they are putting the athletes up in. Maybe this is to fanboyish, but I would love to meet some of the American pros.

In opposition to Rojo's passive aggressive insinuation, being a fan of the sport is a very positive thing. It is far better than drunken rants that are not only filled with negativity, but also barely recognizable as English.
Athletes stay in different hotels but they may concentrate around one primarily. You should be able to find quite a few at: Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel.
There's also a track right near the Eiffel tower. Coburn tweeted a pic of it last year or something, and it's easy to see on Google maps. Maybe someone will do a morning shake-out there.
My wife and I will be in the upper deck near the top of the first turn.
Does anyone know where Genzebe is staying? I would like to hang out there.
Just emailed him, thanks for the tip!
And Ill be screaming for Jager, Chanelle and Co from section Z 12, I think that's in around the end of the first curve.

Thanks for the positive reply! I definitely understand respecting professionals privacy, especially with big races coming up, but I feel like most people would be excited/happy to meet a young American who is a fan and will be cheering them on. I don't know, I haven't met too many pros.

I might just do my morning run from there... was going to head to the bois de boulogne for a long one because I am flying out on Sunday, but we will see.
