I saw that tweet a little while ago as well. Looking through his tweets it appears he doesn't talk about his training much. Wonder of that means something big is coming. Like a major change? But to what?

Well based on that tweet, we know it's not a coaching change. And that means no sponsor change either. Doubtful that he's coming out with a caffeinated gum product. He wouldn't make an announcement about training changes either, that just doesn't happen. I thought that it may have something to do with an event change, but he made his plans pretty clear this winter. Frankly, I have no idea what this could be about.

Why would you think event change? Saw a while back someone else though Centro was looking at other events. He's one of the best in the world at 1500. Would make no sense to change events.
Centro making his marathon debut?!
I think Centro would succeed in any event. Announcement seems interesting. And I would assume it's not about a cheesy reality show or caffeinated gum.

Well maybe his success in under-distance events this winter prompted him to focus on the 800m this summer, which would set him up for a good 2016. Very, very slim chance of that happening though.
Probably going to double for World Champs. 800/1500 or 1500/5000.
that's an interesting tweet.
it can't be changing events - he is a pure miler.
Maybe it is changing training groups tho - who does he have to chase at NOP? can't be fun or good training alone or always at the front - he's had big success with NOP but I could see him trying some way to run with a group. Not sure what that could look like tho.

Centro's good, but he'd have a tough time completing a successful double at USAs, let alone the World Champs.
He must be adjusting hos l-carnitine dose.

It can't be a group change, why would he say "Coach and I are making big changes"? I doubt Salazar would be involved in a group change lol
He is switching doping programs to more closely resemble the top milers in the world as opposed to Rupp and Farah's.
Imagine if he tweeted out later this week - "lowering my EPO dose, and trying a new drug to improve my closing speed"
In reality, I bet it is related to his racing schedule. Like maybe Salazar wants him to run a fast 5k and will put him in one in Europe. Not the WC, but another big 5k in Europe.

I could possibly see that, but I don't think I would classify that as a "major change"

But can Centro even run under 13:30 for 5k...?

Considering he ran 13:20 at Stanford last year, I'd say so
...losing by 18s to fellow Americans. The only way he'd make the team is if they run another jog fest like in 2012 but there is NO way people like True, Bumbi, and Mead will let that happen again, especially if Centro is in the race.
Having said that, I have no idea what his announcement could be.
Symmonds had a "major announcement" which turned out to be a piece of rubber he wanted us to chew on while drinking a cup of coffee. I think it could be anything really, these guys exaggerate a lot.
