I'm at the course. My plan is to get out in the middle of it so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to post as I made a big mistake and didn't purchase a Chinse sim card at the airport so I've got 2g speed
I just asked the media guy, "How do I get out in the middle of the course?" He was like, "Why would you want to do that? You won't be able to get back to the mixed zone until after all the races are over. "
I'm like, "That's fine. I didn't come thousands of miles to watch it on the tv in the press room.I want to be a fan during the race, journalist after. If I miss interviewing someone, I'm sure someone else will talk to them"
It did rain a little here. It doesn't seem real muddy. I haven't been out in the mix of it and am wondering how firm the man made obstacles are. I'm sure there will be a few places of mud but the grass near the finish is firm.
I want ot change my men's pick. Geoffrey Kamworor won juniors 4 years ago. He's a beast. The Kenyans told me when he dominated that race, he only got to Spain the morning of. Didn't even go to sleep. Got there 6 hours before the races, rested in a chair and then dominated.
He's my pick FTW.
