Why can't I run at 70% max HR? I program my monitor and it tells me about 135 bpm and to mainatin that pace I am crawling. Really slow almost uncomforatble. I made it about 12 min at this pace then shut off the beeper and ran a "normal" easy pace the rest of the way(about 148-150bpm.)
Does anyone else have this problem? Should I try to run this 70% pace on easy days, or just run what I feel is easy? I know that I should just run by feel and throw the monitor away but I am just curious as to why I can't run at that pace.
