I run for a Div I (college) cross country program, and our coach has us do squats and bench pressing. My high school coach had us lift much lesser weight and more reps. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the MUCH heavier weights that we're lifting now and the power moves. What is better-the lighter and more reps or heavier and less reps? Does anyone know what other weight lifting programs that other college cross country teams use? Thanks!!!
