Dope is amazing
adjusted to 8:03.40
was that a 3:57ish second mile!?!
He went through the mile around 4:03. So 4:00 second mile
Further proof that he is a mid distance guy
3.58 flat last 1600 roughly

Agreed, he is strongest at 3K then 5K and 10k/1500 about the same ability. Pretty incredible range tbh
What did bernie run?

Worse announcing than most of the horrible American announcing....they were still questioning if he'd break his own Britsih record of 8:08.7 with 50 meters left. It was clear with 600-800 to go he might break the WR. How can you mess up that opportunity in announcing so bad?? They had no idea until they saw the time.....

Yeah I know, and they kept on saying how amazingly tough the record is, but it's easily the softest bekele record out there.
They didn't even know osako's name too, even though he bombed.
3:59.5 last mile, officially!

False. He has run nothing close to 3:28 in those events. 1500 is his best distance so far.

Don't think so. 3K/2 miles then 1500m/1 mile, then 5K and 10K
Because Mo, the dope, said he had not intention to run a WR, implying his kick was not "tweaked" by AlSal prior to the run.

Pretty he will never, ever, ever put two sub 4s together.
"Pretty sure" I will never be good at English.

True. 1500 is Mo's best event BY FAR.
Interesting that Alberto took a 1500 runner and converted him to a 5k/10k Olympic Champion. I'm sure there are plenty of ncaa/us 1500 guys that could compete for gold if they moved up to the 5k/10k. Cristian Seratos????

Not relevant what he said before. He went through in 4:05 and then he dropped to 30 sec lap pace and there was no doubt he'd challenge the WR with 3-4 laps left as he was moving at the right pace to be within striking distance with 200 left.
The announcers were talking about if he could go under 8:09 basically on the final straight....how anti-climatic....
