my calculus teacher often stops what he's doing in class and goes into a rant about all the real-world applications of calculus and how important math is. other teachers do this sometimes too, but he's recently starting talking about how there is a huge job market for math majors, but not as big for liberal arts majors. how much truth is there to this?
