AR attempt likely in the women's DMR also. Sarah Brown, Megan Krumpoch, Brenda Martinez, and Mahogony Jones. Definitly seems like this team can accomplish.

Jenny Simpson is going after 2 mile AR - she missed it last year because she stopped after the 3K.
Our meet preview is now up. Oh baby is this meet loaded. You've got American record attempts in the men's 1k and women's 2-mile plus a WR attempt in the women's DMR. Then there's a loaded men's 3000 with Lagat, Gebremeskel, Lalang, a good men's mile and a whole lot more including Asafa Powell:
WATCH OUT FOR TOM FvCKING RATCLIFFE IN THE BOYS MILE. That kid is going places
agreed hes put up huge numbers this year look for him to win it all
Lagat takes first in the 3k

It will be good prep work for his 10,000 debut. Yep, Lagat told us today he'll be making his debut at 10,000 later this summer.
That info and whole lot more from today's press conference can be found here:

Why is there a men's indoor 2000 record but not a women's?

How can we watch this from Europe? Please help
The Fordham-Saint Louis basketball game went into halftime just before 5pm Eastern. The game is currently on NBCSN. There isn't a chance in hell it is over by 6pm and I'd guess it will carry to between 6:15 and 6:30. Hopefully they keep the stream on USATF.tv running until the NBCSN coverage begins.
Anyone getting the USATF.TV stream???
Asafa Powell on to the final in the 60m dash. 6.57.
Anyone getting the stream for more than a second and a half at a time? This is just as bad as the XC champs.
This Saturday Feb 7 in Boston is the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix part of the USATF Indoor Series. The good news is the meet will be on national tv on NBCSN.
The best race may be the men's 1000m. Matt Centrowitz, Erik Sowinski, and Cas Loxsom are after the American record. Thread on that here:
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=6312654
Mary Cain, Treniere Moser, and Morgan Uceny batle in the 1000m.
Emma Coburn makes her 2015 debut vs Sally Kipyego in the 2000m.
Jenny Simpson makes her 2015 debut in the 2 mile.
Bernard Lagat, Hassan Mead, Lawi Lalang and Dejen Gebremeskel race at 3000m.
Official pre-race thread here.

Thanks Jon. Those of us trying to watch on tv are seeing Fordham beat St Louis in basketball. Fouling non stop, calling timeouts. It's a 15 point game.
Sad that some crappy bball game is bigger than one of 4 televised track meets this year for NBCSN.
Not sure why they still aren't streaming on usatf.tv
There's just a blank screen on the NBCSN website saying "coverage to begin shortly" ... it's 6:09pm dammit ...
Just to be clear, no one is missing any of the events initially scheduled to be in the TV window right now. Meet is paused until bball game wraps up.
Ok meet should be on any second now

Good for them
