I'm currently in the market for a new pair of running shades. Any suggestions?

Squint!
Oakley Scar
Re. Running glasses/shades, the best on the market are Nike Airelons. Light, don't mist and give excellent coverage.
I LIKE NIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!
As Adam Sutton said so eloquently on an interview on run-insight.com:
The last thing running needs are sunglasses wearing, gear bitches
Imitation Oakley's from the little street stalls on Sukhumvit Road, BANGKOK: 150 baht per pair (about US$3.50)

The $10 pair I bought at Wal-Mart last summer. They may not have a big "O" stamped on them, but they work. And, I could break/lose 10-15 pairs of them, and it would still cost less than one pair of Oakleys.
Right on man.
US$10? Goddamn you are getting shafted dude!!!
Mine are US$3.50 and I travel with about 5 pairs.

nike tarj
they're light...good coverage...about 70 bucks...and you can wear them and not feel like a tool, unlike the airelons...
they're lower profile and i find that more people are happy with them than any other pair
Sorry, my Mandarin is a little rusty; I can't get a good deal on the Asian street market! (Especially not in the States.) :)
My vote goes to the Pro M-Frames. It's nearly impossible to knock them off. I have taken some huge falls racing bikes and skiing, and they have not come off. Also there are some many lenses to choose from and they dont bounce around at all.
Nike interchange....orange, black...take your pick and look sexy!
The adidas Gazelles are good too! I've had a pair for over 2 years now and they are nice and light with changeable lenses as well. Around $100 though!
Oakley sunglasses are terrible. I sprung and bought a less expensive pair (by their standards) only to have the frame crack after a month. I took them back to the Sunglass Hut and they gave me a hard time before finally replacing them. Now I'm afraid to wear them running. Definately not worth the trouble, get the imitations.
Does anyone know whether any of the companies that make athletics-related sunglasses make them for those of us who need prescription glasses? I've got prisms in my glasses and therefore can't use contact lenses. I would love to get some high caliber prescription sunglasses so I wouldn't have to wear my cheap, heavy ones from Kaiser.
I know you can get Oakleys with prescription lenses. Problem is they cost well over three hundred dollars, at least.
