I apologize if this has been discussed (frequently) in the past...
I was wondering about how people have recovered from this surgery (after effects, ie. scar tissue, and length of recovery). Recommended, or should i just stick with ice, massage, and stretching? I have had IT issues in the same leg off and on for four years, and now it is really bad. At times I cannot walk due to sharp, localized pain--also keeps me up at night. I am currently not running because of the injury, but would like to salvage outdoor track if possible.
