JK:
I noticed your response to the 800/1500 thread and my question is, what sort of training to you recommend in-season for a miler?

I can't give anything DETAILED without knowing your running history, but for a GENERAL discussion of principles (and some specific sessions), I'd suggest going to www.mariusbakken.com and clicking on "training corner", then going to "Rui Silva/3.30.36 1500m". That has some of the best stuff I've seen in print. Pay special attention to the fact that the training revolves around developing the aerobic component first and is geared toward a career approach rather than a single season approach.
Thanks.
