More like 'WTF is your problem?' and a parting 'FU' as he pulled away. Desisa was tired and a little clumsy as he tried to bull his way past.
Boss.
Two of the more notable marathon finishes in recent years have involved Desisa getting dropped late in the race by pissed off competitors.
World Champs at 2:25 in:
and NYC 14
Does Desisa always look so labored? Kipsang and Kiprotich make it looks so smooth.
Is that just his form or is he really giving it all he has.
LOL. Kinda cute to see two SHORT and SKINNY/SCRAWNY dudes getting physical.
Then again, I doubt those guys will ever get laid. I overheard a women saying that she'd never date a Marathon runner, and prefers REAL MEN. I think she meant "BUFF".
Those guys simply don't have it.

Interesting. When I saw it, my thoughts were that Kipsang was basically saying, "Hey A-hole, I'm in control. You're making yourself miserable for no reason because you're not going to beat me".
I didn't think there was much contact or foul play by Desisa, but Kipsang probably isn't used to having anyone within his personal space in the last 5k of a race.

Do you know where babies come from? It seems skinny Africans get laid on a routine basis judging by population.
Oddly, you never hear about crossfitters reproducing. They are like the Shakers of the fitness world.
As a former police officer, Kipsang was reading Desisa his Maranda rights before "arresting" him!
It was my favorite moments in the history of marathoning.
He didn't look quite as ragged at World Champs, but it's really surprising the guy can hang on so long while looking so rough.

That's what I am thinking, I feel tired watching him!
Thanks for the link. I've been wanting to rewatch that. Kipsang looks like he's not even trying.

yes, he does look effortless, but the effort was most certainly there: he was almost "legless" at the finish line, could barely stand up/almost toppled over. It was nice to see a winner of a marathon who ran so hard the last few miles "feel it" at the finish and not look inhumanly refreshed.
Also, I saw most of the top finishers hugging and high-fiving one another upon conclusion of the race. It was clear that there were still some hard feelings concerning the close battle between Kipsang and Desisa, as they did not acknowledge one another when standing in the chute. Basically ignored one another. No embrace. This was at least how it initially occurred. Did they embrace or shake hands at some point?

The poster here on LRC who goes by the name TRUE BRIT put it bestq when he said;
"..Desisa nudges him on the arm, he looks down like "bitch please you wanna play?" and tears him apart in the last .22!"
End of thread!
Kipsang was acting so to seem exhausted
This was a training run for Kipsang, 85% effort.
