Made my list and I have Ches on top but would love to see an upset by Korolev. I think that Theroux-Jenkins-Saarel will be next, but who knows. CU's top 5 are in my top 10. I also want to see the guy from UWashinton do well.

Cheserek upset by Korolev? What are their PRs? Seems more like Cheserek would have to be really sick or injured to lose. Not really what I would consider an upset.
Not sure UCLA will top Stanford. Stanford bested them in Wisconsin and will be adding McGorty back who ostensibly is rounding into form. I think we'll see CU, UO, Stan, UCLA, UW.
And I'd love to bet Korolev over Ches. I will be routing for Korolev over Ches. But it isn't going to happen.
I think it will end out like this...
Team
1 Colorado (with an insanely low score)
2 Oregon
3 Stanford
4 UCLA
5 Washington
Individual
1 Chesereck (will have to work for victory)
2 Korolev
3 Jenkins
4 Theroux
5 Saraal (followed closely behind by Moussa and Murphy)
Colorado will run easily as a pack and finish holding hands in places 3-7. The remaining 4 will be following shortly behind.
CU will have 7 in the top 10!

When I've gone to this meet, I've never seen the result I expect, since not everybody runs hard.
Colorado wins, UCLA does really well, one of the lower ranked team, maybe UW or WSU pulls a huge race out of nowhere. ONe of the higher ranked teams, maybe Stanford or Oregon doesn't run hard or well.

I agree random results will happen. I think the "unbeatable" King Chesereck gets overthrown. Its going to happen sometime, I don't see why not now.

How do you know it is going to happen sometime?
UCLA will be racing Daniel Herrera as well for the first time this season, he's run 3:44 and 13:50. So they very much have a chance at taking down Stanford for 3rd.
I agree 100%/thread

Why would Cheserek have to work for it? Was anyone even close to him during last track season or xc season? Are Korolev's PR's close or something?

Last race Theroux closed hard on him and almost got him. Also last year not only was someone close to him but also beat him in NCAA. I know he is gone, but it can be done. Still with the exception of Tiernan from Nova I don't think he can really be beat by anyone currently in the NCAA.

Even Edwin Moses and Lasse Viren eventually got beat. No one better than Paula Radcliffe has come along, but she's not her old self.
